Three Yeovil Town FC fans set off from Bristol and travelled around all 92 Premier League and Football League clubs in just fourteen days.
Why?
Martin McConachie and his twin sons Ryan and Harry collected memorabilia from the clubs to auction off when they got back for two fantastic charities. The Adam Stansfield Foundation and the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation were both set up following the sad deaths of two of football's real gentlemen after battling with cancer.
The trip is now over and we have visited all the clubs, one by one, to collect what they donated. I'm hopeful that their generosity in supplying signed shirts, footballs, match tickets, mugs, pennants etc will enable us to raise a nice sum of money for the charities below. The dates were carefully chosen as Adam Stansfield began his career in Yeovil and finished in Exeter, just as the challenge did.
